Worshipful Commander WBro Tony Farrar and his wife Amanda were hosting the event for the 2nd year due to the untimely death of Bro George Wright last July, George’s death had resulted in Tony staying as WC for a second term. The evening also marked the first social event for our new Provincial Grand Master RWBro Keith Allen Beardmore. |

The staff at the Pavilion served up a delicious meal which was enjoyed by all present, then onto the formal part of the evening at the conclusion of which Hugh Mett (not yet a Mark Man) sang the Roses song and the Ladies song. | |

During her response to the ladies Amanda thanked WBro David Bell and his wife Elizabeth for all their help and support in arranging the Commander Dinner. Amanda made special mention of the beautiful menu cards and place cards which had been handmade by Elizabeth. Amanda thanked the lodge scribe Howard Emmett and his wife Pam for their support. | |

Entertainment was provided by Emma Wright, a very talent local singer who had recently appeared on “Stars in their Eyes” A raffle arranged by the lodge charity steward WBro John Powell raised a sum of over £200 |
